A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Battle for Cake at Stake is a game inspired by Battle for Dream Island (BFDI) where you play as Gelatin and beat the other eight contestants in order to win the Cake at Stake.

Don't understand what to do in challenges? Read "CHALLENGE INSTRUCTIONS.txt" on the zips or just hover your mouse on Announcer in the challenge screen!

We recommend that after the game is started for the first time, once the intro finishes (Announcer says "Press start to start!", you close the game and then re-open it because of text-to-speech issues.

Install instructions

Windows

  1. Extract the ZIP and play! (Run battle-for-cake-at-stake.exe)

macOS (OS 15+)

  1. Double click on "battle-for-cake-at-stake", then select "Done" on the warning.
  2.  Go to System Settings, enter the "Privacy & Security" section and scroll to the bottom.
  3.  Find "battle-for-cake-at-stake was blocked to protect your Mac", select "Open Anyway".
  4.  Select "Open Anyway" in the next prompt.

After completing these steps, the app should run without any further warnings.

macOS (OS 14 and earlier)

  1. Ctrl+Click on "battle-for-cake-at-stake" and select "Open".
  2.  If a warning appears, select "Open".
  3.  If "Open" isn't an option, press "Cancel" and repeat from step 1.

After completing these steps, the app should run without any further warnings.

Linux

  1. Extract the ZIP and play! (Run start.sh)
